The Macon County Fireman's Association assists member fire departments as they strive to protect the people and property of Macon County, North Carolina from the devastation of fire and to aid in medical emergencies.

The Association promotes the best interests of the firefighters of Macon County by coordinating training programs, serving as a resource for information needed to fulfill their responsibilities, and cultivating a fraternal spirit between the fire departments and citizens of Macon County.

The association serves approximately 350 volunteer firemen and women across the county, with 30 or more members at each of Macon County's 11 fire districts.
